Why printed foam
Conventional copper foam comes as blocks and sheets with whatever pore distribution the process gives you. Printing the lattice lets you place fine pores where you need surface area and open channels where you need low pressure drop, inside one net-shape part.
Parts are sintered to a full metallurgical bond and can be brazed or diffusion bonded to your base plate.
